11 Days Chandigarh to Leh Ladakh Scenic Explorer

Day 1: Chandigarh/Delhi - Manali

Arrive in Chandigarh and start your drive to Manali. En route, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and valleys. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 2: Manali - Keylong

After breakfast, start your drive to Keylong via Rohtang Pass. En route, visit the scenic spots of Marhi, Koksar, and Jispa. Overnight stay in Keylong.

Day 3: Keylong - Sarchu

After breakfast, drive to Sarchu via Baralacha Pass. En route, visit the scenic spots of Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal. Overnight stay in Sarchu.

Day 4: Sarchu - Leh

Drive to Leh via Nakeela Pass and Lachulung La Pass. En route, visit Gata Loops, Pang, and Morey Plains. Arrive in Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh Local

Spend the day at leisure, acclimatizing to the high altitude. Explore local markets and sightseeing in Leh (cafes optional). Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Hemis Thiksey

Visit Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Palace (palace, not monastery). Return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Hemis - Nubra Valley - Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, drive to the stunning Nubra Valley. En route, visit the Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. Explore the dunes and take a camel ride in Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 8: Diskit Monastery

After breakfast, visit the Diskit Monastery, known for its 32-meter-high Maitreya Buddha statue. Drive back to Leh in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 9: Pangong Lake

After breakfast, drive to Pangong Tso Lake, a beautiful high-altitude lake. Spend the day at the lake, admiring its changing colors and enjoying the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Pangong Tso.

Day 10: Leh

After breakfast, drive back to Leh. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring Leh on your own. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 11: Departure

Depart from Leh to Chandigarh by flight or by road.
